LG has Launching 55 Inch OLED TV in South Korea

LG has declared that they are launching their new 55 inch OLED TV in South Korea. The OLED TV will be available in February.

The new 55 inch WRGB OLED TV comes with the 55EM9700 model number. It wil go on sale in South Korea in the first week of February. The OLED TV will sell for 11 million KRW which works out at around $10,000.
We are extremely pleased to be able to make this announcement at the start of the new year because we believe that OLED will usher in a whole new era of home entertainment,” said Havis Kwon, President and CEO of LG’s Home Entertainment Company. “Not since color TV was first introduced 60 years ago has there been a more transformational moment. When high definition TV was first introduced 15 years ago, the public’s reaction was ‘wow!’ but when customers see our razor-thin OLED TV for the first time, they’re left speechless. That’s a clear indicator as any that OLED TV is much more than just an incremental improvement to current television technology. LG’s 55 inch OLED TV is just 4 millimeters thick and weighs in at just 22 pounds.

Google has apparently handed out some of their new Nexus Smartphone’s for their employees. The device is apparently based on LG’s Optimus G handset and the end of October now it looks like this new Nexus phone will launch.
According to Cnet, the device will come with Android 4.2 and it will be shows the end of the month. It is imagine to their feature very similar to the LG Optimus G.

The Nexus version of the LG Optimus G is expected to quality a quad core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM , a 1280 x 768 True High Definition IPS display, plus an 8 megapixel camera and a choice of 8GB or 16GB of storage and plus an microSD card slot.
